In our experience, there still exists a wealth of independent watchmakers from all corners of the world who remain largely underappreciated despite their immense potential. These artisans produce in very limited numbers, remain intimately involved in the craftsmanship of every piece and, perhaps most importantly, stay true to their founding DNA.

As a key opinion leaders in watchmaking and a platform dedicated entirely to horology, we asked ourselves how we could truly champion these independent creators — how we could tell their stories the way they deserve to be told.

Our goal wasn’t just to share their narratives, but also to highlight the technical brilliance that often defines their work. What began as a casual discussion in Geneva evolved into a clear mission and, ultimately, into Maison de Revolution (The House of Revolution).

It provides a platform that allows discerning enthusiasts to engage directly with these exceptional artisans, many of whom have limited visibility or access to traditional retail channels. Fam Al Hut Möbius Mark 1 Nebula Limited Edition

The Fam Al Hut Möbius Mark 1 features a mesmerizing bi-axis tourbillon, a complication that embodies the mechanical poetry of haute horlogerie. Historically, the bi-axis tourbillon is a relatively modern invention, first conceptualized in 1977 by British horologist Anthony G. Randall for a carriage clock, with the first working example completed in 1980. Its adaptation to wristwatches began only in the early 2000s, pioneered by independent watchmakers such as Thomas Prescher, Franck Muller and Greubel Forsey, as well as by brands like Jaeger-LeCoultre.

One of the key reasons the Fam Al Hut Möbius Mark 1 has taken the independent watchmaking world by storm is that it represents a fresh and authentic voice — something we haven’t seen in the scene for a long time. Even more remarkable, it was entirely developed and manufactured in China — a fact that has both surprised and impressed collectors around the world.

This watch is a true technical statement, featuring a bi-axis tourbillon, retrograde jumping hours and retrograde minutes, all ingeniously packaged within a compact, capsule-shaped case — making it the smallest bi-axis tourbillon wristwatch ever created. And all this innovation comes at a starting price of just USD 32,000, a level of accessibility rarely seen for such complexity.

Fam Al Hut also breaks new ground in materials. It is the first brand to offer a case made entirely from Amorphous Zirconium — also known as Bulk Metallic Glass (BMG) — an unconventional alloy that is nearly as light as titanium yet boasts a Vickers hardness of 600, making it significantly more scratch resistant.

Our vision for this limited edition was to strike a balance between avant-garde modernity and the timeless elegance of traditional watchmaking. For this special edition, we replaced the original gunmetal gray baseplate with a frosted gold finish, lending the piece warmth, depth and refinement.

We named it “Nebula” in tribute to the founders’ shared passion for astronomy and as a symbolic celebration of a golden moment for Revolution. Like the celestial clouds from which stars are born, the Nebula embodies both creation and brilliance — a shining testament to artistry, innovation and collaboration.

Fam Al Hut has also created a bespoke engraving on the 15.55mm frame behind the tourbillon, proudly featuring the word “Revolution” as a symbol of our partnership. To commemorate our 20th anniversary, the retrograde minute display highlights the “20” marker in gold — a subtle but meaningful tribute to this milestone.

All 25 pieces of this limited edition will be crafted in Amorphous Zirconium, offering collectors the perfect balance of technical innovation and exclusivity — where cutting-edge material meets the enduring artistry of fine watchmaking.
